Cold war era arms from Nicaragua are being sold to dealers in Costa Rica and Panama, then transported to Colombia and sold mostly to rebel groups. It is a very lucrative trade, with AK-47s being bought in Nicaragua for a hundred dollars and then sold in Colombia for up to two thousand dollars.
