To the surprise of no one, Britain is considering the idea to (meaning it will eventually decide to) keep its leased C-17 transports rather than replace them with A400M Eurotransports. The C-17 can do things that the A400M (if that program does not collapse) can never do, such as transport tanks and other outsized cargo.--Stephen V Cole
